GEO320™ MRH™ asphalt bitumen Prototype was placed in Melbourne in December 2-2000. Note the lack of generated fumes from the asphalt which was
laid at 110 deg C (Warm Mix).
GEO320™ MRH™ asphalt surface was applied to a thickness of 50mm using a 7mm dense graded mix design with 0,9% Voids, normally a standard 14 or 20 mm mix design with 5% Voids would be placed on an area like this, the pigment loading was 0.7%. The high performance of GEO320™ MRH™ (Mastic Roller Hybrid™) asphalt was demonstrated on a asphalt truck weighing station, the fully loaded asphalt trucks that stop here weigh in excess of 40 tons when fully loaded. The surface has had no change since application in December 2000 the last inspection was on 21 July 2005.
